Good store the service could be better
Customer service is appalling!! Been in and was at self scan and needed to get authorisation twice,the staff member on at the time never even spoke. We've been in and found gone off meat in every single one of their fridges numerous times. Health and safety here is a joke. Tried to speak to the manager to make a complaint and was hung up on, had to ring the head office in the end. Had an asda gift card sent out due to the fact that we lodged a complaint, it was made obvious we would only use it online, turns out you can't even use them online!
Cheap Fuel Cheap Service, Do not use if you require a receipt , on no fewer than 6 occasions now I have had to ask at customer service for a receipt when the outside pump failed to issue a receipt. I went inside to get some help. The staff member on the customer services desk took my details then disappeared. I waited 30 mins thinking she would return. she never did, finally I asked another staff member if it would be likely that she would return. She informed that she had gone to lunch. I finally got a receipt after having waited 45 mins. This is unacceptable from a major chain store retailer. Customer service is not their strong point. I think they need to change their supplier who administers these machines. I am considering using the other available service stations in the Newmains area rather than ASDA. May not make much difference to them at ASDA but if you require a receipt for fuel and cannot wait for service AVOID.
When we visited here today we received exceptional service from one of the staff in getting bulky garden materials. Really appreciate the help given.
