Wonderful though non of the staff spoke English, beautiful large rooms, very peaceful
Absolutely freezing. No staff around to speak to
Would have been 5 stars if wifi worked and staff spoke english also no one on reception either. Facilities in room ie tea coffee biscuits tv etc were very good bed was really comfortable and the water was piping hot no noise from traffic either very tranquil a walk around the grounds wouldve been lovely but the rain spoiled that.
Would be nice if the heating is left on and for guest to regulate. Arrived to freezing cold room. Was told heating will be on later but had to ask again. Woke in morning to freezing room. Arrived back later on 2nd day at 6.30pm and had to ask for heating to be put on. Can hear guest in next room as only thin door dividing rooms.
We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting family and enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was very spacious, very comfortable and very clean and had everything we could need. The staff were very helpful and I can see from previous reviews, a lot of improvements had been done. With a 24 hours Asda down the road, you can have all you need if not provided by the House. We will certainly return there again and have no hesitation to recommend it to others.
